Wednesday was when the Jungle Bungle Show came to our school. There were two performers standing on a foam mat in the hall, there was a 20 year old boy called Jordan and a 30 year old girl named Marian and they were holding a show called...

THE JUNGLE BUNGLE!!! It was very exciting to skip work and watch a magnificent show.

It all started with a boy new at school (Jordan played Oliver and Marian played Clare) named Oliver and he thought that because he was different he couldn’t make friends. Oliver had a special compass that took him where his heart leads him.  That’s how he met Clare, so he took Clare to his back yard that he called a ‘jungle’ and they brought two bags with only books in them, but then Oliver disappeared. Somehow the characters came out of their books.  The first book was called Old Hu Hu. Hu Hu Two came out and told Clare to look for Oliver, so Clare looked, but she couldn’t find Oliver anywhere. Clare decided to sat down and read another book called Piggety- Wiggety- Jiggety-Jig and the Visit to his Dad’s Café. Out popped Piggety-Wiggety-Jiggety-Jig and he told Clare it’s OK to be different. Then she read the very last book in her bag and it was called The Witches Word. The book was filled with mini-stories and poems. Clare turned to a random page with a poem called the Tin Can Band and you got it. Out jumped the character with his pan lids banging here and there. He taught Clare it’s OK to be CRAZY.

Then Oliver jumped out of the imaginary bushes with his compass still in his hands, and then he realized that it was good to be different.  From that day on Clare and Oliver became very good friends and it’s all because of his compass that didn’t point north, but where he wanted to be most, with Clare.
