For our inquiry we were learning about science and experiments here is miss k doing a experiment on coke and mentos. We all stood back because there was gonna be a explosion of  coke and mentos .The mentos did not disolve. All the mentos were at the bottom of the bottle. It looked like a water fountain instead of blue water it was brown fizzy water with mentos coming out.

 

 We went on a trip to pacifica festival for our trip. A lady taught us how to play the bamboo drums high and low.She also taught the boys and girls a dance each.We got to make lei's,and weave flax flowers.

Room 15 2010

It is nearly the end of Term 1 and man have we been busy!
We have been on a trip to Hoani Waititi Marae, made papier mache bowls for the fair, competed in a mini swimming sports with Room 10 and that's in between all the learning we have been doing.

We're winding down for the Easter and school holidays but not before having a reward for all the wonderful students who have been completing their Reading Logs every week.
