Room 21s most challenging momements from camp

On the 25th of August all the year sixes went to Carey Park for three days and two nights.

We did eight activities including the really high climbing wall which made some people have butterflies in their tummies and made them feel that they couldn’t climb up.

Then there was the Abseiling wall, seven metres high, where we felt like we were going to fall. This feeling was caused by being afraid and sometimes by having no encouragement because all the kids, they went off to watch kayaking.

The Confidence Course was also challenging because of a Tarzan swing, wobbly tyres, a long bridge, monkey bars and lots more tricky obstacles. The most frustrating obstacle was the wobbly tyres because they were all different sizes and everyone kept falling off.

Other thingsthat were challenging for us were, orienteering. Finding clues was really challenging, the 100 metre flying fox. If you think that sounds scary then you should have tried the really long water slide with the drop into the freezing cold creek with eels. Even getting to sleep was challenge for some people.

Overall Carey Park was the best place to camp!
