Room 25's visit by Ian Jones - ex All Black

Today my class got to see Ian Jones, who used to be an All Black. He brought with him some jerseys from rugby teams from some other countries around the world. He also brought an All Blacks jersey which me and some other lucky people got to wear. Next we did some relays, the girls won but that didn’t stop me from having a wonderful time.

Today Ian Jones came to our school for only Room 25 and Room 2. He was an All Blacks player but now he isn’t. First we got to try on some rugby jerseys. There were Ireland, Argentina, South Africa and there was an All Blacks one too. Next we had some photos with the jerseys on. Lastly we did some relays. The girls won them. I had a spectacular time seeing Ian Jones. I hope I can see him again.

On Monday Room 25 and Room 2 got to see incredible Ian Jones an old rugby player in the hall at 10.00am. He brought in country’s rugby shirts and we got to wear them, then Jessica’s mum took photos. After we did some relays. I had fun with Ian Jones.

Wow! I went to go see the famous rugby player for the All Blacks, Ian Jones. My whole class went down to the hall to see him. We got to put on some jerseys that the teams played in. I put on the France jersey. We played some relays with some balls. The girls teams won so Ian Jones said, “Whoever wins can call themselves the World Champs.” Sadly we had to leave to go write about what we did. I had a sensational time with Ian Jones.

Wow! I was amazed when Room 25 and Room 2 got down to see Ian Jones. First we got to wear some of his rugby jerseys. Then we took some fascinating photos of us all in the jerseys. I was wearing England. After that we did some incredible relay races. There were two girl lines and two boy lines. I was feeling nervous but I tried my hardest and the two girl lines came first. I really enjoyed Ian Jones coming because he told us some really interesting facts and because I came first in the relay races.

Today Room 25 went to the hall to meet Ian Jones. “Wow,” I said to myself. First we put on rugby shirts. Ms Pollard took photos of us when we were wearing the shirts. Then we did some relays. The girls won but still, I had a good time.
