Seyeon's Voyager Trip

It was a windy morning on the 13th of October as we all crowded onto the bus to get a good seat. The ride was comfortable and smooth as if I was at home watching TV. I sat with Regina near the back talking.

Room 21 and 22 all scattered out of the bus chattering away and lined up. We could see the shimmering deep ocean making tiny waves between each piece of wood below us. I shivered nervously, a bit scared because it was my first time on a boat. I wasn’t the only one as Regina had never been on one either. She said that boats that have got a boys name written on them mean bad luck. That made me feel more nervous and worried.

Wobble wobble…I could feel the cruise wobble as we went on single file though it wasn’t as wobbly as I thought it would’ve been. A crew man told us some rules we had to keep to while we were on the boat like no leaning on the sides and keep your feet down when you sit on the bench. When we were all settled down the crew asked some people to help set the sail. Luckily I was one of the people that got chosen to set the sails. All we had to do was pull as the crew loosened it. It was fun but hard. After all of the hard pulling we sat back down and watched the smooth waves. People were talking, playing or looking around fascinated.

A few minutes passed and we were going under the harbour bridge. Everyone chanted “Jump! Jump!” As we saw someone in the bungy jumping block. Unfortunately we didn’t see anyone jumping as we headed back. We hopped off the wobbling boat one by one.
