Ukelele!
Every Tuesday Room 17 goes to Room 26 to learn the ukelele. We've had fun learning from Mrs. Sinclair. So far we've learned lots of different chords like A minor, C7, G and F. We have been practising changing from one chord to another and at the end of our second lesson we got to use the picks. Mrs. Sinclair told us we can make our own picks by cutting them out of ice cream containers. We have enjoyed listening to songs and playing along with them.
"I found playing the guitar at home was easier than playing the ukelele." Alyx
"It felt really weird for me to play the ukelele because I'm used to playing the guitar." Corbin
"Ukelele is a great instrument to learn and I hope to learn more in the future." Jasmine
"It's easier to play the ukelele with a pick than just strumming with your hand." Honor
"It was really hard at first but we picked it up as we went along." Thomas
"Our teacher was really fun and liked having the music really loud!" Ben
"When we strum with our fingers we get blisters :( " Phoenix
