The Science Fair was A BLAST!

The bean in 100%worm tee didn't grow. The bean in 100% worm soil didn't grow! The bean in 100% water didn't grow! The bean in 100% leaves, or sand did grow.

Next we had to agree in our group what to plant our beans in using compost, worm tee and worm soil.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Travel Wise ;Drop Off Zone

A small group of children conducted an inquiry about the Drop Off Zone in the bottom carpark.

From their survey they found some cars were parking and not collecting children only if they were waiting on the footpath.

They created Some HOT TIPS for drivers.

Animal inquiry

Room 11 have been researching animals that we would like to see in our native tree area behind the pool.

Some questions we asked after our research which we googled are...

How many tuis'are in NZ?Around 50 Jessie Parsons. I think you might mean 500 I will check- We couldn't find the answer but Jessie also found out thatthey are very intelligent just like a parrot. They also know how to talk human speechand are known for their unusual call.Jessie Parsons
