We are all settling back into our routines with enthusiasm. We are enjoying our new news topics, which are either;-  reciting poems, bringing in poems to read, or bringing in family photos or items from our family's past to share. We have the same news days as last term and these are up on the whiteboard.

Our sounds for this week are 'ng' and 'oo' as in look.

Library days are still Tuesday.

I hope you have all had a great weekend.

Well done to those of you who are bringing in interesting facts and books about animals for your news.  I particularly enjoyed Nicho's poem about the tui. He read it so well! And we chose the poem as our weekly poem as it was really cool!!! Daniel's facts about the elephant were interesting too. He read them all out by himself too.

Thanks very much for coming to our interviews. It was lovely to catch up with you all and set some goals etc for our children and their learning.

Hi there! I hope you all had a great holiday. The weather certainly helped!!!

Well we are going to get straight back into it! Our topic this term is animals and their habitats. So can we please borrow books and pictures. Please name these and put them on our Discovery Table at the back of the room. The children will be having the opportunity to find images on google so practising this at home will be helpful. Thanks.
