Sport at Greenhithe

Welcome to the Sports Page for Greenhithe School!

 My name is Sharon Hilton-Jones and I am the Sports Coordinator for Greenhithe School.

Greenhithe School understands the importance of sports and extra curricular activities and offers the opportunity for students to develop knowledge, skills, attitudes and motivation to gain maximum enjoyment and results of their sporting endeavours.

 We offer a variety of sports for the children to participate in the weekend and after school:-

Miniball/Basketball         (Year 3-6)        Terms 1-4

Hockey                             (Year 3-6)         Terms 2-3

Netball                             (Year 1-6)          Terms 2-3

Flippaball                         (Year 5-6)         Terms 1-4

Touch                               (Year 1-6)         Term 4  

We also offer Rippa Rugby and Tackle Rugby which is played in School time. Our school is part of a Cluster of schools which includes Albany, Coatesville, Upper Harbour and Ridgeview. We compete against these schools for Cross Country, Swimming and Athletics (known as Inter School). From these events, the athletes which do well go on to compete in the Northern cluster group which involves 13 schools from our area (known as Super Cluster).
